Drying of Masterbatch Chips

The use of masterbatch polymer allows a quick and economical change of products. The masterbatch is fed into the extruder or polymer stream therefore a drying and dosing system (please see page “Equipment/Dosing Unit”) is required.

To achieve the best quality polymer it is required to have a low and uniform residual moisture content of masterbatch chips. For this propose AQUAFIL Engineering has developed its own drying technology which is very economical and reliable compared to the standard drying processes.
