revalyu Recycling (India) and Aquafil Engineering (Germany) are pleased to announce they have signed an agreement for using certain specific parts of Aquafil’s technology, alongside revalyu’s own technology for the expansion of its chemical PET recycling plant based in Nashik, India.
Sustainability leader Genomatica (Geno) alongside longtime collaborator Aquafil [ECNL:IM] successfully completed the first demonstration scale production runs for plant-based nylon-6. Geno and Aquafil have produced the first several tons of plant-based nylon-6 building block caprolactam, have converted it to nylon-6 polymer, and are now in the process of transforming it for evaluation in nylon applications such as yarns for textile and carpet and engineering plastics as part of pre-commercial quantities from demonstration production taking place in Europe.
AQUAFIL Engineering as a global leading company for polyester technology is building a chemical regeneration plant with newest EverPET® technology in Arco (Italy).
SRF (Thailand) and AQUAFIL Engineering GmbH (Germany) have completed and started a new polycondensation plant in Thailand. The plant is using the unique and newest AQUAFIL PET film technology and reached excellent quality and nominal capacity after a few days. The plant has lowest building and erection costs due to AQUAFIL LBT® and the world “fastest” technology for film line speed due to AQUAFIL DFC®. Additionally it has the lowest environmental impact due to low utility consumption and the usage of a part of the AQUAFIL EverPET® recycling technology.
